Hydra1mage — Project Summary

Hydra1mage is a free, open-source, client-side image processing suite that runs 100% in the browser with zero server uploads, ensuring maximum privacy and instant results.

🔑 Key Highlights & Philosophy

  • Privacy-First: All processing happens locally using the browser's Canvas API. Images never leave the user's device.
  • No Limits: No sign-ups, no file limits, and completely free.
  • Modern UI: Earth-tone design with dark/light mode support.

🛠️ Main Features & Tools (10 Tools)

  • Crop: Interactive drag-based cropper powered by Cropper.js with free-form or preset ratios (1:1, 4:3, 16:9).
  • Adjust: Control exposure, temperature, tint, highlights, shadows, vibrance, gamma, and sharpness.
  • Effects: 15+ filters (blur, sepia, pixelate, oil paint, emboss, vignette, duotone, etc.).
  • Convert: Client-side conversion across 11 formats (PNG, JPG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, TIFF, ICO, ICNS, SVG, PDF).
  • Smart Compress: Auto-optimize file size via binary search (target specific KB or auto-tune).
